Preservative Specific Information Links
A variety of types of preservative treated wood including common preservative systems under brand names and newly emerging and specialized formulations are available on the market. After consideration of AWPA and other standards, environmental guidelines and Consumer Information Sheets the specifier or user of treated wood will generally find that several preservatives will meet their needs. Selection of a specific preservative is a matter of individual choice and judgement.
Preservative producers have information on-line for their products including, characteristics, performance, safety and environmental factors. The following links will take you to that information.
